As precision transmission equipment, electric cylinders require systematic maintenance to maintain performance. Regular inspections are essential, focusing on visual damage (such as cracks), loose fasteners (torque values must comply with manufacturer specifications), and cable insulation (a monthly visual inspection is recommended). Cleaning should be done with a neutral solvent (pH 6-8) and a dust-free cloth to prevent particles from entering the guide rails (recommended cleaning frequency is every 50 operating hours). Lubrication is particularly critical. Linear guides should use ISO VG32 grade lubricant (0.5-1ml/100mm of travel). Harmonic reducers require specialized grease (such as Molykote EM-30L). Lubrication intervals are recommended every 200 operating hours. To prevent failures, monitor motor temperature rise (warning level ≤ 80°C) and operating vibration (should be <2.5mm/s). Quarterly servo parameter calibration is recommended. Digital maintenance records should be established to record key parameters such as backlash (standard <0.05mm) and repeatability (±0.01mm).
